Who We Are

Bunker Hill 250 is a collaboration of over 30 organizations including museums, schools, historical groups, and Boston’s arts, tourism, and hospitality industries. While some groups are producing events to mark the 250th anniversary, others are connecting these efforts to broader commemorations across Massachusetts, and informing and engaging their communities, ensuring widespread participation.

This collective came together around a shared goal: to inclusively celebrate and honor the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Charlestown neighborhood, and its role in American Independence.

Bunker Hill 250 is composed of over 70 events, starting 250 days before the anniversary and culminating in a week-long celebration in June 2025. From historical reenactments and archaeological digs to neighborhood traditions and exhibits, Bunker Hill 250 brings Charlestown’s rich heritage to life through commemoration, education, and community pride, all under the banner of “Revolution Ignited.”
